Let there be glow
Sunspots, redness, breakouts, or skin that’s just lost its sparkle? IPL (Intense Pulsed Light) is a quick light treatment that targets the color in your skin — fading spots, calming redness, and bringing back your brightness. It’s best for sunspots, freckles, redness, acne, and uneven skin tone.
The science of light
IPL treats the color in your skin — brown spots and redness — so your complexion looks clearer and more even.
Gentle Pulses of Light
Broad-spectrum light is delivered in quick, gentle pulses through a cooled handpiece glided over your skin.
Targets the Color
The light is absorbed by brown pigment and the red in tiny surface blood vessels, while the skin around them is left alone.
Clears & Brightens
Over the next week or two, spots darken and flake away and redness fades — revealing a clearer, brighter, more even complexion.

IPL FAQ
How long does an IPL treatment take?
About 30 minutes — easy to fit into a lunch break.
Is there downtime?
No real downtime! You may look a little pink for a few hours. Treated sunspots and freckles usually darken and flake off over about a week — that’s a sign it’s working.
Does it hurt?
Each pulse feels like a quick, warm snap, like a rubber band flick — and it’s over fast.
How many sessions will I need?
Most clients see the best results with a series of 3 treatments, which is why we offer a package of 3 (save $100). Lynette will recommend the right plan for your skin.
Do I need to avoid the sun?
Yes — skip tanning, self-tanner, and direct sun for about 2 weeks before and after your treatment, and wear SPF daily to protect your results.
Is IPL safe for all skin tones?
IPL works best on light to medium skin tones. If IPL isn’t the right fit for your skin, Lynette will recommend a safe alternative, like one of our RF treatments.
